Spartan Shield Athletics was founded by Kurt Vanfossan in 2015.

It started as a dream of being able to provide quality athletic apparel, at an affordable price. 

Spartan Shield Athletics was began during his time in the United States as a side business, and since, has grown into a multi-product brand for men and women

The logo was inspired by his love for Roman history. Started with a sketch, which eventually evolved into what it is today. 

Since establishment in 2015, Kurt has remained the singular effort in development of his company, brand, designs, and advertisements.
